Security ownership (CISO)

• Held ultimate authority over corporate security risk and internal controls ($500M+ in self-custodied assets and 10k+ wallets/exchange accounts behind them), and personally owned SecOps day-to-day.
• Designed and operated the full security stack greenfield: MPC wallet and custody architecture, transaction filtering, EDR, enterprise browser, IAM, password manager, DLP, MDM, CNAPP, VPN, and physical security.
• Led 3 ISMS (Korean equivalent of ISO 27001) certification cycles as principal owner; maintained direct working relationship with Korea's financial regulator (FSC/FSS) on audits and ongoing license obligations.
• Maintained an APT-aware security posture under active nation-state targeting; zero breaches during tenure.

Engineering leadership (CTO)

• Led a 15-person engineering team; owned hiring, architecture, and infrastructure operations end-to-end.
• Designed and operated a cloud platform hosting 100+ trading strategies with strong isolation, reliability, and deploy safety guarantees.
• Operated low-latency network infrastructure for high-frequency trading.
• Ran platform engineering with trader productivity as an explicit KPI.
• Embedded AI coding agents into daily engineering practice across the org; built the secretless infrastructure that made agent-augmented workflows safe under live adversarial pressure.

2022–Present | Founder / Advisor, PDAO (non-profit open-source DAO infrastructure community)

• Founded and led through 2023, then stepped back to an advisory role to complete degree. Community remains active (50+ core contributors at peak, 400+ members).
• Developed and deployed Simperby, a trustless governance protocol for DAOs.
• Selected as an official open-source project by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (OSSCA 2023, Open Source Software Contribution Academy).
• Organized 10+ offline meetups and networking events.
